A Bit About Me
I have been a gamer since the late '70s when I was still a youngster. I rode the D&D craze, going from Original to Basic to AD&D and 2nd Edition. I experimented with most of the genre games during the mid '80s including Traveller, Villains & Vigilantes, and Top Secret. I also dabbled with D&D competitors such as Chivalry & Sorcery, Rolemaster, GURPS, Harn (still my favorite milieu), RuneQuest, T&T, The Fantasy Trip, the Palladium system, and the somewhat infamous Fantasy Wargaming.
However, all youthful hobbies take a backseat to adulthood. As of now, I've been married almost 15 years and have a son (7) and a daughter (soon to be 5). Although I'm still interested in RPGs, my focus is mostly spent in mapping for fun. I have all of the well-known mapping software (CC2, Fractal Mapper, AutoRealm, DungeonCrafter) and many older ones that have fallen by the wayside for the most part (e.g., Arr-Keelan Hexmapper and Town Designer, The Creator System, Bruce Gulke's hex mapper).
I don't recall how I came across Polaqu, but it caught my eye. I hope to be able to provide maps and content, even if it's not likely that I'll actually play. I hope you'll enjoy...
