When using Intimidate in combat, if you successfully cause an opponent to become shaken, you may make two more attempts as a free action. If the two extra checks succeed, the opponent is paralyzed indefinitely. At the beginning of each round, the affected creature may make a Will save to break from the paralysis. The save DC is equal to 10 + your Cha modifier + 1/2 your character level. If a 1 is rolled during the save, the affected creature cannot breathe and may suffocate. A successful save after this point instead ends the suffocation but not the paralysis. This is a mind-affecting effect; the creature is convinced that it cannot move or breathe, but it's body is actually working fine.
Using Intimidate in combat does not allow this.
This does not work on creatures that cannot be intimidated or creatures that cannot see.
