Former spice trader and leader of The Order of the Slug.

He claims that his ship, the Pink Bonnet crashed into the rocks below one of the Pillars of Hazar and he was sucked underwater and blacked out. While unconscious, he reputedly had had visions of a Divine Wurm that told him to found The Order of the Slug.

Alphonse is a well-known spiceweed user and many attribute his eccentric behaviour and stories to his addiction.
